chicago?

i've relocated to chicago for the summer, folks, and am immersing myself in it fully. the beach is a 5 minute walk away and millenium park is where i lunch. however, i do also have a life in cincinnati and this post is to show off a few images from my week home. this is sort of a filler post until i get a little more established in these here parts. anyway. enjoy. they're amusing if nothing else.

2 things of note...

i seem to be finding myself perusing the online edition of t magazine whenever i attempt to widen my horizons by reading the news. ah, such is life. anyway, i'm constantly impressed by their ability to capture modern day stars within the realms of classic style and photography. they've done it once again with male tv stars who are brimming with talent, toeing the line of the silver screen and the big screen. so go check it out.

i'm sorry, but i know everyone who knows me has heard my shepard fairey rant (numerous times, in fact), but i feel like i need the internet to hear my wrath as well. all i have to say is...anyone who has such a strong anti-capitalist message in their fine art should not be designing bags and catalogues for saks 5th avenue. just a thought.

although, i confess...it does look pretty sweet. oh the conflicted feelings.
